Poetry Society of Tennessee - Northeast Chapter
The Poetry Society of Tennessee's Northeast Chapter (PST-NE) was created in February 2010 in Gray, TN as a branch chapter of the Poetry Society of Tennessee (PST). In 2018, the chapter meetings were moved to Johnson City, TN. PST-NE is inclusive of areas in and around the Tri-Cities. We are a diverse group of authors and poetry lovers dedicated to excellence in poetry writing. We strive continually to perfect our craft and welcome all those who share our desire to develop as poets. Current and past officers are listed here. Thank you to PST-NE member Rose Klix for this history of the PST-NE Chapter.
PST-NE meets on the fourth Saturday of every month at 2 pm at Grandview Christian Church in Johnson City. We also host readings, open mics, and locally sponsored events. Physical, in-person meetings and readings have been suspended due to COVID-19. All meetings/readings are virtual/online. Contact us for links to their online meetings, readings, and other events!
For more information please see our chapter's website, our Facebook page, or contact us via email.
