Author of one of Tennessee’s official poems, Marlene Edwards Tidwell released Nature Sings earlier this year. Her journey of poetry started in 3rd grade on the front porch on a farm in Tennessee.

After finishing college Marlene worked as a Corporate Tax Accountant for Hospital Corporation of America, has directed several non-profits organizations, and served her community.

She is a wife, mother and grandmother and enjoys public speaking, traveling and writing.
